Description The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the XUpload.ocx ActiveX control. This can be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long argument to the AddFolder function. The control is used by various software, including HP Mercury LoadRunner and Groove Virtual Office.
Recommendations For versions 2.1.0.1 and prior to 3.0, consider updating to version 3.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the AddFolder function in the XUpload.ocx ActiveX control to minimize the risk of exploitation.
