Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Apple Mac OS X version 10.4.11
Description
The issue is a stack-based buffer overflow in Foundation, which allows attackers to execute arbitrary code. This is achieved by providing a long pathname with an unexpected structure, triggering the overflow in NSFileManager.

For Apple Mac OS X version 10.4.11, consider updating to a newer version to mitigate the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of long pathnames with unexpected structures to minimize the risk of triggering the buffer overflow in NSFileManager.
