CVE-2008-0207
CVSS v2.0
4.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
PRO-Search versions 0.17 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via several parameters, including
prot, host, path, name, ext, size, search days, or show page, to the default URI. This can lead to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.Recommendations
For PRO-Search versions 0.17 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the default URI or validating and sanitizing user input for the
prot, host, path, name, ext, size, search days, and show page parameters to prevent arbitrary web script or HTML injection. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
