| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
CandyPress versions 4.1.1.26 and earlier 4.1.x versions
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via the
idProduct and options parameters to the "ajax/ajax optInventory.asp" endpoint, or the recid parameter to the "ajax/ajax getBrands.asp" endpoint.Recommendations
For CandyPress versions 4.1.1.26 and earlier 4.1.x versions, consider restricting access to the "ajax/ajax optInventory.asp" and "ajax/ajax getBrands.asp" endpoints until a fix is available. Avoid using the
idProduct, options, and recid parameters in these endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
