CVE-2008-0690

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Joomla! mosDirectory (com directory) version 2.3.2
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is achieved by exploiting the catid parameter in a "viewcat" action within the index.php file of the mosDirectory component.
Recommendations For version 2.3.2, consider restricting access to the catid parameter in the "viewcat" action until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the catid parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
