Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Belkin F5D7230-4 router version 9.01.10
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a control center outage. This can be achieved via an HTTP request with invalid POST data and a "Connection: Keep-Alive" header to the cgi-bin/setup virtualserver.exe endpoint.
Recommendations
For Belkin F5D7230-4 router version 9.01.10, consider restricting access to the cgi-bin/setup virtualserver.exe endpoint until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the "Connection: Keep-Alive" header in HTTP requests to this endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
