CVE-2008-1273

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions imageVue version 1.7
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, potentially leading to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This can be achieved by manipulating the path parameter in several API endpoints, including "/popup.php", "/test/dir2.php", "/admin/upload.php", and "/upload/dirxml.php".
Recommendations For imageVue version 1.7, consider restricting access to the path parameter in the affected API endpoints until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the vulnerable endpoints, specifically "/popup.php", "/test/dir2.php", "/admin/upload.php", and "/upload/dirxml.php", to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
