Description A remote code execution issue exists due to the incorrect validation of array indexes in the Event System. This could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code, potentially leading to complete control of the affected system. The attacker could then install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full administrative rights.
Recommendations For Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP2 and SP3, Server 2003 SP1 and SP2, Vista Gold and SP1, and Server 2008, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
