Description The issue is related to a SQL injection vulnerability in the session handling functionality. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via an input field associated with the session id variable. It has been exploited in the wild.
Recommendations For Coppermine Photo Gallery versions 1.4.17 and earlier, consider disabling the session handling functionality in bridge/coppermine.inc.php until a proper fix is available. Restrict access to input fields associated with the session id variable to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
