CVE-2008-1908
CVSS v2.0
7.5
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
cpCommerce version 1.1.0
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via directory traversal vulnerabilities. This can be achieved by exploiting the
language parameter in a language action to the default URI, which is not properly handled in actions/language.act.php, or by exploiting the action parameter to category.php.Recommendations
For cpCommerce version 1.1.0, consider restricting access to the
actions/language.act.php and category.php files until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the language and action parameters in the affected API endpoints.Exploit
