CVE-2008-2347

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: MyPicGallery version 1.0
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to bypass application authentication and gain administrative access. This can be achieved by setting the userID parameter to "admin" in a direct request to "admin/addUser.php" API endpoint.
Recommendations: For MyPicGallery version 1.0, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "admin/addUser.php" API endpoint until a patch is available. Additionally, avoid using the userID parameter in this endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
