| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Sun Java Active Server Pages (ASP) Server versions prior to 4.0.3
Description:
The administration application server in Sun Java Active Server Pages (ASP) Server has an issue that allows remote attackers to bypass authentication. This is achieved by making direct requests on TCP port 5102.
Recommendations:
For versions prior to 4.0.3, update to version 4.0.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to TCP port 5102 to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
