CVE-2008-2690

CVSS v2.0

9.3

High

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions BrowserCRM version 5.002.00
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code when register globals is enabled. This can be achieved by providing a URL in the bcrm pub root parameter to various PHP files, including "kb.php", "login.php", "index.php", "contact view.php", and "contact.php" in the pub/ directory.
Recommendations For BrowserCRM version 5.002.00, consider disabling the register globals setting to prevent exploitation. Additionally, restrict access to the vulnerable PHP files in the pub/ directory, such as "kb.php", "login.php", "index.php", "contact view.php", and "contact.php", until a patch is available. Avoid using the bcrm pub root parameter in these files until the issue is resolved.
