CVE-2008-2692

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions yvComment (com yvcomment) version 1.16.0 and earlier for Joomla!
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is achieved by exploiting the ArticleID parameter in a comment action to the "index.php" endpoint.
Recommendations For yvComment (com yvcomment) version 1.16.0 and earlier, update to a version later than 1.16.0 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "index.php" endpoint for comment actions until a patch is available. Avoid using the ArticleID parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved.
