Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Sun Java System Calendar Server versions 6 and 6.3
Sun ONE Calendar Server version 6.0
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a daemon crash, when access logging is enabled. This occurs due to an unspecified vulnerability in the cshttpd component.
Recommendations
For Sun Java System Calendar Server versions 6 and 6.3, and Sun ONE Calendar Server version 6.0, consider disabling access logging (service.http.commandlog.all) as a temporary workaround to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
