CVE-2008-2905

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Mambo versions 4.6.4 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code when register globals is enabled. This is achieved via a URL in the mosConfig absolute path parameter in the includes/Cache/Lite/Output.php file of the Cache Lite package.
Recommendations For Mambo versions 4.6.4 and earlier, consider disabling the register globals setting to prevent exploitation. Additionally, restrict access to the includes/Cache/Lite/Output.php file to minimize the risk of arbitrary PHP code execution. Avoid using the mosConfig absolute path parameter in vulnerable configurations until the issue is resolved.
