Description: The issue is related to Secure Static Versioning, which does not properly prevent the execution of applets on older JRE releases. This might allow remote attackers to exploit vulnerabilities in these older releases.

Recommendations: For Sun Java JDK and JRE 6 Update 6 and earlier, update to a version newer than 6 Update 6 to resolve the issue. For Sun Java JDK and JRE versions 5.0 Update 6 through 15, update to a version newer than 5.0 Update 15 to resolve the issue.
