CVSS v2.0
9.3
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Dotclear versions 1.2.7.1 and earlier
Description:
The issue allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code by uploading a file with an executable extension to ecrire/images.php, and then accessing it via a direct request to the file in images.
Recommendations:
For Dotclear versions 1.2.7.1 and earlier, consider restricting access to the ecrire/images.php file to prevent unauthorized file uploads until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the ability to upload files with executable extensions to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
