Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in the daemon crashing. This can be achieved by sending a DHCPINFORM message without having a DHCP lease, or by attempting to renew a nonexistent DHCP lease for an invalid subnet as an unknown client.
Recommendations For dnsmasq version 2.43, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
