CVE-2008-3760

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Vanilla versions 1.1.4 and earlier
Description A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) issue exists in the sign-out page, allowing remote attackers to hijack the authentication of arbitrary users. This can be triggered by a SignOutNow action to the people.php endpoint, resulting in a logout.
Recommendations For versions 1.1.4 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the people.php endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
