CVE-2008-4045

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions @Mail version 5.42
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, potentially leading to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This can be achieved via several parameters, including the file and HelpFile parameters to "parse.php", the Folder and start parameters to "showmail.php", and the abookview parameter to "abook.php".
Recommendations For @Mail version 5.42, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters file, HelpFile, Folder, start, and abookview in their respective scripts until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using these parameters in the affected API endpoints.
