Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Mac OS X Server version 10.4.11
Description:
The issue is related to the weblog in Mac OS X Server, where it fails to properly check an error condition when a weblog posting access control list is specified for a user with multiple short names. This might allow attackers to bypass intended access restrictions.
Recommendations:
For Mac OS X Server version 10.4.11, consider restricting access to the weblog feature until a fix is available, or apply configuration changes to mitigate the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
