CVE-2008-4304
CVSS v2.0
10
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
phpCollab versions 2.5 rc3 and earlier
Description:
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in unspecified input related to the
SSL CLIENT CERT environment variable. In some environments, SSL CLIENT CERT always has a base64-encoded string value, which may impose constraints on injection for typical shells.Recommendations:
For phpCollab versions 2.5 rc3 and earlier, consider restricting access to the
general/login.php file until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the SSL CLIENT CERT environment variable in sensitive operations.Fix
