Description:
The issue allows remote authenticated administrators to inject arbitrary PHP code into include/settings.php via the URI. This is a result of a static code injection vulnerability in the installation/setup.php file.
Recommendations:
For phpCollab versions 2.5 rc3 and earlier, consider restricting access to the installation/setup.php file until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the vulnerable installation/setup.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation.
