CVE-2008-4447

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Positive Software H-Sphere WebShell version 4.3.10
Description: A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved through the fn parameter during a "dload" action, the mask parameter during a "search" action, and the tab parameter during a "sysinfo" action.
Recommendations: For version 4.3.10, consider disabling the affected parameters fn, mask, and tab in their respective actions until a patch is available. Restrict access to the "dload", "search", and "sysinfo" actions to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the parameters fn, mask, and tab in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.
