Description: A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the dbserver, host, user, password, database, and table parameters in the adodb.php file.
Recommendations: For XAMPP for Windows version 1.6.8, consider restricting access to the adodb.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the parameters dbserver, host, user, password, database, and table in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
