CVE-2008-4526

CVSS v2.0

10

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions CCMS version 3.1
Description The issue allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the skin parameter to several API endpoints, including "index.php", "forums.php", "admin.php", "header.php", "pages/story.php", and "pages/poll.php".
Recommendations For CCMS version 3.1, consider restricting access to the skin parameter in the affected API endpoints until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the vulnerable API endpoints, such as "index.php", "forums.php", "admin.php", "header.php", "pages/story.php", and "pages/poll.php", to minimize the risk of exploitation.
