CVE-2008-4645

CVSS v2.0

9.0

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PhpWebGallery versions 1.7.2 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary PHP code. This is achieved by sending PHP sequences in the sort parameter, which is then processed by the create function function.
Recommendations For PhpWebGallery versions 1.7.2 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the event list.php file in the plugins/event tracer directory until a patch is available. Avoid using the sort parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
