Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Titan FTP Server version 6.05 build 550
Description
The issue is related to a heap-based buffer overflow that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This is achieved by sending a long DELE command.
Recommendations
For Titan FTP Server version 6.05 build 550, consider restricting access to the DELE command until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limiting the length of the DELE command input may help minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
