CVE-2008-5568

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions IPN Pro 3 versions 1.44 and earlier
Description A cross-site request forgery issue allows remote attackers to change the admin password. This is achieved through a logout action in conjunction with the admin id, newpass 1, and newpass 2 parameters in the admin/settings.php file.
Recommendations For IPN Pro 3 versions 1.44 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the admin/settings.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the admin id, newpass 1, and newpass 2 parameters in the logout action to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
