Description The issue allows local users to cause a denial of service by putting drives into Programmed I/O mode via multiple simultaneous invocations of a test program, due to the lack of minimum timeouts for SG IO requests in libata.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2.6.27.9, update to version 2.6.27.9 or later to resolve the issue.
