Description The issue allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy and execute arbitrary JavaScript code. Multiple vulnerabilities in various packages of the Debian GNU/Linux operating system can lead to a violation of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information. These vulnerabilities can be exploited remotely.
Recommendations For Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 2.0.0.17, update to version 2.0.0.17 or later. For Thunderbird versions prior to 2.0.0.17, update to version 2.0.0.17 or later. For SeaMonkey versions prior to 1.1.12, update to version 1.1.12 or later. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive information and implementing additional security measures to minimize the risk of exploitation.
