Description The issue allows remote attackers to bypass validation of the certificate chain via a malformed SSL/TLS signature for DSA and ECDSA keys. This can lead to a violation of the integrity and availability of protected information. The exploitation of the vulnerabilities can be carried out remotely.
Recommendations For NTP versions 4.2.4 through 4.2.4p4, update to version 4.2.4p5 or later. For NTP versions 4.2.5 through 4.2.5p149, update to version 4.2.5p150 or later. For ntp before version 4.2.4 p6, update to version 4.2.4 p6 or later.
