CVE-2008-6189

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions GForge version 4.5.19
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is achieved via the offset parameter to API endpoints such as "/new/index.php", "/news/index.php", and "/top/topusers.php". The offset parameter is not properly handled in the "database-pgsql.php" file.
Recommendations For GForge version 4.5.19, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the affected API endpoints until a patch is available. Avoid using the offset parameter in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
