Description A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) issue allows remote attackers to hijack user authentication for requests that change a certain .htaccess password via the xampppasswd parameter.
Recommendations For XAMPP version 1.6.8, consider restricting access to the security/xamppsecurity.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the xampppasswd parameter in sensitive operations until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
