Description
The issue is related to improper enforcement of ACL checks when acl hierarchic is set to True. This might allow remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions.
Recommendations
For versions 1.6.2 through 1.7, consider setting acl hierarchic to False as a temporary workaround to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
