CVE-2008-6873

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Active Web Mail version 4.0
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is achieved via the TabOpenQuickTab1 parameter to API endpoints such as "popaccounts.aspx", "addressbook.aspx", and "emails.aspx".
Recommendations: For Active Web Mail version 4.0, consider restricting access to the TabOpenQuickTab1 parameter in the affected API endpoints until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the TabOpenQuickTab1 parameter in "popaccounts.aspx", "addressbook.aspx", and "emails.aspx" to minimize the risk of exploitation.
