Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands when magic quotes gpc is disabled. This can be achieved via the id parameter when adding or updating the shopping cart.
Recommendations For Zen Cart versions 1.2.0 through 1.3.8a, consider disabling the id parameter in the shopping cart functionality until a patch is available. Restrict access to the shopping cart module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the id parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
