Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
AlilG Application AliBoard Beta
Description
The issue allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code by uploading a file with an executable extension as an avatar, then accessing it via a direct request to the file in
uploads/avatars/. This is due to an unrestricted file upload vulnerability in usercp.php.Recommendations
For AlilG Application AliBoard Beta, restrict file uploads to only allow non-executable extensions to prevent arbitrary code execution. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the avatar upload feature in
usercp.php until a proper fix is implemented.Fix
