CVSS v2.0
6.4

| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Kyocera Mita version 3.3.0.1
Description
The issue concerns the Scanner File Utility, also known as the listener, which uses a small space of predictable user identification numbers for access control. This predictability allows remote attackers to upload documents via a brute force attack.
Recommendations
For version 3.3.0.1, consider restricting access to the Scanner File Utility to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, limit the ability to upload documents remotely until a more secure access control mechanism is implemented. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
