Description The issue is a stack-based buffer overflow in the Remote Control Server of Free Download Manager, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long Authorization header in an HTTP request to the "/api/v1/login" API endpoint, by exploiting the username and password variables.
Recommendations For Free Download Manager versions 2.5 Build 758 through 3.0 Build 844, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
