CVE-2009-0457

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions AJA Portal version 1.2
Description The issue allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via directory traversal sequences. This is possible through the currentlang parameter to "admin/case.php" in the Contact Plus and Reviews modules, and the module name parameter to "admin/includes/FANCYNLOptions.php" in the Fancy NewsLetter module.
Recommendations For AJA Portal version 1.2, consider restricting access to the currentlang parameter in the Contact Plus and Reviews modules, and the module name parameter in the Fancy NewsLetter module until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the currentlang and module name parameters in the affected API endpoints.
