CVE-2009-0545

CVSS v2.0

10

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions ZeroShell versions 1.0beta11 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in the type parameter in a NoAuthREQ x509List action, specifically targeting the "cgi-bin/kerbynet" endpoint.
Recommendations For ZeroShell versions 1.0beta11 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "cgi-bin/kerbynet" endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the type parameter in the NoAuthREQ x509List action until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
