CVE-2009-0765

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Kipper version 2.01
Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files. This is achieved by using a .. (dot dot) in the configfile parameter.
Recommendations For Kipper version 2.01, consider restricting access to the configfile parameter in the index.php file to prevent directory traversal attacks. As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of the configfile parameter until a patch is available.
