Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (device reload) via a crafted H.323 packet when H.323 inspection is enabled. Multiple vulnerabilities exist in the Cisco ASA 5500 Series Adaptive Security Appliances.
Recommendations
For versions 7.0 through 7.0(8)5, update to version 7.0(8)6 or later.
For versions 7.1 through 7.1(2)81, update to version 7.1(2)82 or later.
For versions 7.2 through 7.2(4)25, update to version 7.2(4)26 or later.
For versions 8.0 through 8.0(4)23, update to version 8.0(4)24 or later.
For versions 8.1 through 8.1(2)13, update to version 8.1(2)14 or later.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling H.323 inspection until a patch is available.
