Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Cisco IronPort AsyncOS versions prior to 6.5.2 on Series C, M, and X appliances
Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists in the Spam Quarantine login page, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the referrer parameter. This could potentially lead to unauthorized actions on the affected system.
Recommendations For versions prior to 6.5.2, update to version 6.5.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Spam Quarantine login page to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the referrer parameter in the affected login page until the issue is resolved.
