CVE-2009-1458

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions razorCMS versions prior to 0.4
Description The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via specific parameters in different actions. The affected parameters include the slab parameter in an edit action, the catname parameter in a showcats action, and the cat parameter in a reordercat action.
Recommendations For versions prior to 0.4, update to version 0.4 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the admin/index.php file and validating user input for the slab, catname, and cat parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation.
