CVE-2009-1774
CVSS v2.0
9.3
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Strawberry version 1.1.1
Description:
A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files. This is achieved by using a .. (dot dot) in the
file parameter to the "example/index.php" endpoint. It was initially reported that the issue affected the do parameter, but traversal with that parameter might depend on modifications to "example/index.php".Recommendations:
For Strawberry version 1.1.1, consider restricting access to the "example/index.php" endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the
file parameter in the "example/index.php" endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
