CVE-2009-1869
CVSS v2.0
9.3
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Adobe Flash Player versions prior to 9.0.246.0
Adobe Flash Player versions 10.x prior to 10.0.32.18
Adobe AIR versions prior to 1.5.2
Description:
The issue is related to an integer overflow in the ActionScript Virtual Machine 2 (AVM2) abcFile parser. This overflow can be triggered by an AVM2 file with a large
intrf count value, leading to a dereference of an out-of-bounds pointer. As a result, attackers can cause a denial of service, which is an application crash, or possibly execute arbitrary code.Recommendations:
For Adobe Flash Player versions prior to 9.0.246.0, update to version 9.0.246.0 or later.
For Adobe Flash Player versions 10.x prior to 10.0.32.18, update to version 10.0.32.18 or later.
For Adobe AIR versions prior to 1.5.2, update to version 1.5.2 or later.
