Description:
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the Referer HTTP header. This can lead to the execution of malicious code on the victim's browser.
Recommendations:
For Claroline version 1.8.11, update to a version that fixes this issue, as using the Referer HTTP header to inject malicious code can be mitigated by applying a patch that properly sanitizes this header. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
